The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia

Right next door and pretty good, Ted’s Montana Grill. Bison burgers, fried chicken, lots of vegetable sides, and they give you Jefferson $2 bills as change. My favorite is the Green and Hot Burger.
If you don’t want to deal with the lines at Ted’s, or ate there for lunch, there’s also a McCormick and Schmick’s nearby. A little taste of Portland. Not cheap, but great seafood. I always get the oysters.
Not too far away if you have transportation is my favorite breakfast place in the whole country. I kid you not. Ria’s Bluebird. Last time I rode my bike there, but today I’m too lazy.

Just curious to see what you found to eat in Orlando. Being from Florida, and primarily eating at mainstream places it would be interesting to see what you found while you were there. I am sure it was NOT the Nascar Grille (with an “e”). Hahahaha!!!!! Great show by the way…. drove all the way from Jacksonville to see you guys. Speaking of food, we had Denny’s before the ride back home last night.

We tried to go there, but there was a long wait. They do take reservations, so if you only have an hour between soundcheck and the show, make a reservation earlier in the day. It’s worth it ’cause there’s not a lot else around.

I didn’t find anything worth mentioning in Orlando, hence the lack of Orlando post. I ate at Emeril’s with Colin. Kinda not so great. I’ve heard there is great food in Orlando, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t in Universal Citywalk.
And yeah, Ted’s can have a long wait. And the waiters talk too much.

although this was posted nearly a year ago..if you haven’t had the banana pancakes at ria’s, you must make an effort to try them the next time you’re in atlanta. they are amazing!
